James Dean was giving advice to Dennis Hopper on the set of Rebel and he said to him "If you're going to drink the coffee in the scene, really drink it --if you're smoking a cigarette, really smoke the cigarette." I say the same thing to people when they say they understand vibration and Law of Attraction. What you see is what you get on camera, and it sees everything. Same too with your life -- you can tell people, by the amount of joy you're feeling if you're deliberately creating or not. It's your entire language and energy. Others can tell too. Ain't no mother fucker getting an Oscar for a lipservice performance. Most actors hardly make the Academy's consideration yet they craft and practice and craft and practice still. For the craft. Not the accolades. And any actor who tells you they do it for the clap isn't the actor that grips an audience or revolutionizes cinema. You've got to be real with yourself friends. Stars in your eyes is one thing, but approval and acceptance and accolades from outside yourself is lipservice territory. So when I say keep it real, hear it out. If you actually care about the quality of your life you'd be selfish enough to make your personal development personal. Your craft. Let the others see in your performance how well you are at it. They ain't blind. Lord knows they see clearly and point out quickly all the other shit. We all hold the ability to be a star --we ARE stars. If we choose to realize ourselves as such. If we choose it in and as our joy. Not for a highlighted mention in a contrived book of select history from a discorded society. Naw bra. Naw. So don't ask for the spotlight unless you're star material, or willing to carve yourself out as such. And all that constitutes star quality is an insatiable ability to flow energy on purpose, how you want, for fun, regardless of conditions.
